Karen Maguire - CEO

Karen Maguire, President and CEO

Chief Executive Officer and the founder of Satuit Technologies, Inc. Prior to founding Satuit Dr. Maguire headed a sales consulting firm focused on the institutional asset management industry. Her clients included many of the world's largest and most successful fund managers. Dr. Maguire was previously Managing Director of Marketing for the Bank of Boston's institutional investment division, Dewey Square Investors and has extensive experience in institutional investment sales. She has a PhD in Modern Language from the University of Connecticut and is fluent in French as well as English.


 Josh Weiss - CTO

Josh Weiss, CTO

Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Weiss is the chief technical engineer of SatuitCRM and his team is responsible for production of all current generations of Satuit products as well as oversight of all Professional Services development projects. Before joining Satuit, Mr. Weiss worked for over 10 years as a software engineer and consultant with a focus on financial and back office systems. Mr. Weiss holds a bachelors degree in computer science from Boston University.


 Steven Nothern - CFO

Steven Nothern, CFO

Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Satuit in 2004, Mr. Nothern was a portfolio manager responsible for more than $10 Billion in Fixed Income portfolios at MFS Investments. He also worked at Merrill Lynch in Manhattan as a derivatives and futures specialist. Mr. Nothern holds a bachelors degree from Middlebury College and an MBA from Boston University. 

Steven has volunteered for organizations outside Satuit such as The Habitat for Humanity and The Carter Center.  "I find inspiration in former President Carter's example of public service.  For me, helping to strengthen emerging democracies is not about spreading our values so much as supporting the very basic of Human rights, the right to self-determination", says Steven.  To learn more about Satuit's CFO and Satuit's volunteer and community involvement, click here.


 John Bullinger - CSO

John Bullinger - CSO

Mr. Bullinger is the Chief Security Officer. In this position he is responsible for all aspects of technology, security, compliance and risk management including the integrity, confidentiality and availability of data on all Satuit networks and systems.  John brings 20 years of experience in areas such as network, data, and physical security design and management, network and systems support, database development and administration, PCI compliance, project management, disaster recovery planning, and data center build-out.  His work has covered the healthcare, industrial, academic, energy, SaaS, and retail sectors. He holds a B.S. in Management of Information Systems from Bellevue University and holds multiple certifications, including CISSP, GCIH, OSCP, and PMP.


 James Plassmann - SVP Client Success

James Plassmann, SVP Client Success

Mr. Plassmann is the SVP of the Client Success Group, he is directly responsible for the relationship management, implementation, consulting, and client service areas of the business. Prior to Satuit, Mr. Plassmann worked at Accenture, the NPD Group, and most recently at Cutter Associates where he was involved with research on data management, alternative investments, research management, and regulatory reporting solutions. He holds a B.S. in Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a M.A. in Mathematics from Columbia University. 


 Mike Melis - SVP Sales

Mike Melis - SVP Sales

He is responsible for the overall sales strategy for Satuit while ensuring that Satuit’s revenue goals are met.  He is also responsible for managing relationships with business partners and key client relationships.  Before joining Satuit, Mr. Melis held sales and business development roles at several software companies.  During his career Mr. Melis has been involved in nearly every aspect of the software business including: sales, marketing, partnerships, client service and software development.  He holds a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Utah. 

 Jacqueline Hicks - HR Manager

Jacqueline Hicks - HR Manager

In this position, Ms. Hicks partners with Management Team members to provide strategic leadership and operational management for a broad range of Human Resources functions including talent acquisition, benefits, employee relations, learning and development, team building, and employee engagement and satisfaction, as well as other programs that attract, develop, and retain exceptional talent. Jacqueline has worked in various industries including financial services, manufacturing, retail, and particularly software. She holds a B.A. in Business Management from Upsala College and has PHR (Professional Human Resources) and SHRM-CP certifications. Jacqueline has volunteered for organizations such as The Boys & Girls Club, Salvation Army, Cradles to Crayons, Toys for Tots, and provides shelter for homeless and battered women. And as a professional filmmaker and successful screenwriter, she enjoys developing young talent in this arena.
