Piedmont Consolidates Client and Sales Data through SatuitCRM

Norwell, MA – September 1, 2011 – Satuit Technologies Inc., a global leader in software solutions for the professional investment markets, announced that Piedmont Investment Advisors, LLC. has implemented SatuitCRM to consolidate all key client and sales data on a single platform. Piedmont is based in Durham, manages over $3.1 billion in assets.

Before implementing Satuit, Piedmont was facing the challenge of too many data silos with overlapping and occasionally conflicting data. “We looked at many CRM solutions. We had very specific reporting needs and were coming out of a project with another vendor that did not meet our needs, so we knew exactly what we wanted from a new vendor” says Dina Falzon, Piedmont’s VP of Operations.
Piedmont was rapidly outgrowing the spreadsheets and internal systems that it was using, along with ACT! and their back office provider’s CRM package. They needed to simplify the process of tracking client and sales activities. They also wanted to be able to report to management without spending days organizing reports.

Piedmont chose SatuitCRM because of the company’s knowledge of the asset management business and its alignment with their strategic objectives in the areas of client relationship management and business development. SatuitCRM also integrates with Piedmont’s back office portfolio accounting software and allowed them to replace the CRM module in that software. Additionally, Satuit was able to handle some very specific requirements for tracking activities and reporting. Piedmont is in the process of deploying the application across sales, client service and their back office.
