Summary
The Senior Security Analyst is responsible for managing, supporting and developing the information technology of the enterprise with a specific focus on its security profile. This role supports all information delivery systems including data centers, remote offices and telecommunications (voice and data) and 3rd party information delivery services. The individual must be adapt at researching, reviewing, presenting configuring, analyzing, and diagnosing complex network security design/Architectures, services and suites that are used in the secure delivery of business critical information across local area and wide area integrated networks. This position requires flexibility to deal with people at a variety of levels both internally and externally.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and other duties as assigned.

Ensures end-to-end network security, including unique access controls for a wide range of user requirements. Through oversight of the daily operation and control of integrated network systems including, IPSEC connections, SSL VPNs, Firewalls, switches, routers and edge security software and hardware.

Performs analysis and documentation of network systems needs and contributes to the planning and design of a secure network architecture including state of the market security systems such as firewall, IDP/IPS, SSL VPN and two factor authentication technologies.

Ability to recommend, configure and manage a large scale distributed Windows 2003/8 Environment and troubleshoot and resolve production problems in a timely fashion.

Evaluate and assesses compliance with established information assurance policies and regulations, providing detailed recommendations on the security posture of all systems.

IT Security management, policy recommendation, preparation and execution for servers, edge equipment, desktop/laptop and applications environment.

Assists with the acquisition, management and deployment of all local /wide area network hardware and software, including servers, peripherals, network end nodes, printers and cable plants and services.

Conduct and document risk and threat assessments as a fundamental element of an overall security and compliance process.

Participates and assists with managing ongoing development and implementation of company-wide Business Continuance Plan and DR plan.

Works with departmental teams in providing IT services that support ongoing client sales and support efforts.

Initiate, facilitate and promote activities to create information security awareness within the organization and provides security focused training to all levels of employees within the organization.

Serves as the internal information security consultant to the organization, in this role provides detailed recommendations and reviews covering secure network engineering and security consulting.

Participates in the planning, scheduling and deployment of secure high availability services that support an operational objective of 99.95% uptime.

Research, evaluate, recommend and implement tools and solutions that ensure a continuous process and improved service delivery throughout the enterprise.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelors Degree

Security certification(s) as, MCSA, CCSA, CISSP, or CSSLP

Five to seven years’ prior system administration, systems engineering, with a strong focus on security.

Previous experience with some or all of the following SaaS Application Infrastructure, Data center operations, and High Availability Infrastructure, MS SQL Server 2005/8 and IIS.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

Work is performed in a professional office setting. Some physical effort may be involved in moving, connecting or troubleshooting equipment.

Some nights, weekends, or off hour work may be occasionally required.
